What files do I need to provide?
You need to share the layered PSD mockup file(s) and your design file(s) (e.g., PNG, JPG, AI, EPS, PDF). Please provide the highest resolution possible for both. Use a file-sharing service like Google Drive or Dropbox.
What is the cost?
Our pricing is simple: $0.50 USD for each artwork placement into a single PSD mockup file. For example, placing one logo design onto one t-shirt mockup PSD costs $0.50. Placing 3 different designs onto the *same* t-shirt mockup PSD would cost $1.50 (3 x $0.50).
Does my PSD need to have Smart Objects?
It’s highly recommended! PSDs with properly set up Smart Object layers allow for the most accurate and efficient placement. If your PSD doesn’t use them, placement might be more complex or require manual adjustments, potentially affecting turnaround time or requiring a custom quote. Contact us if you’re unsure.
Can you change colors or backgrounds in my PSD?
Our standard $0.50 service focuses *only* on placing your design into the designated layer (ideally a Smart Object). If the PSD mockup has simple, clearly marked built-in color change layers, we *might* be able to accommodate simple changes as part of the standard fee (ask first). Significant modifications beyond design placement will require a custom quote.
What is the turnaround time?
Turnaround typically ranges from a few hours to 24-48 hours after file receipt and confirmation, depending on the number of placements and our current workload. Bulk orders may take longer. We’ll provide an estimate when you submit your request.
What format will I receive the final files in?
After payment, we deliver high-resolution JPG or PNG files (as appropriate for web use) with your design placed. We do not typically return the modified PSD unless specifically requested and quoted for as a separate service.
What about bulk orders (many designs/PSDs)?
We handle bulk orders! The price is still generally $0.50 per placement, but for very large orders (e.g., 100+ placements), contact us first. Please provide clear instructions, organized files, and the total number of placements for an accurate quote and estimated turnaround time.
Do you check my design file for quality?
We primarily focus on accurate placement. While we might notice very obvious issues (e.g., extremely low resolution), it’s your responsibility to provide a high-quality design file suitable for the mockup. We place the exact artwork you provide.
